Point and Click Studios is run by Craig Harman. This page explains what we collect when you use pointandclick.studio, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, email [Enable JavaScript to see email].

The newsletter

When you join the newsletter we keep your email address, your name if you give it, the page you signed up on and the date. We use them to send you news about our games: releases, patches and new projects. We don't send anything else.

Your details are stored in this website's database and with Brevo, the company that sends our emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed.

Emailing yourself the download link

If you ask us to email you the Sierra Quest download link, we use your email address to send that one email through Brevo. You're only added to the newsletter if you tick the box asking for news. To stop the form being abused, we remember the requesting IP address for up to an hour.

Analytics

We use Umami, which we run on our own server, to count visits and see which pages and features are used, for example how many people download the game or reveal a hint. Umami doesn't use cookies, doesn't store your IP address and doesn't build a profile of you. It records things like the page you visited, the site that sent you, your browser, your type of device and your country.

Cookies and browser storage

  • If you enter a download password, a cookie remembers it so you don't have to enter it again.
  • Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser.
  • Our own admin login uses cookies. Visitors never see these.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for advertising. The only company that receives it is Brevo, to send our emails.

Other sites

Links to YouTube, social networks and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email [Enable JavaScript to see email] and we'll reply as soon as we can.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
